Operation: Femtosecond Lasik and TransPRK

The laser operation is performed in two phases. It is quick (about 15 minutes) and painless.

Phase 1:

Access to the corneal treatment zone (by freeing the superficial layer of the cornea).

Phase 2:

Modification of the curve of the cornea by laser treatment (making it flatter for myopes and more curved for hypermetropes).

Femtosecond Lasik is the operation where visual recovery is the fastest. After the first phase of creating a corneal flap, the laser will modify the curvature and thickness of the cornea to correct your vision.

Its main advantages:

  • Fast recovery: 100% vision the next day
  • Quick return to work (a 2-day sick leave is issued)
  • The thickness, size, centering and regularity of the resulting flap can be programmed with a precision of a few microns
  • Latest technology
  • Speed of the operation (15-20min)
  • Eye-Tracker safety system. The laser follows the micromovements of your eyes guaranteeing extreme safety
  • Freedom and comfort: 100% clear vision from a distance over the long term
  • Painless operation. Anesthesia by simple anesthetic drops

Trans-PRK (trans-epithelial refractive photokeratectomy) is a 100% laser eye correction method in which the eye does not need to come into contact with a surgical instrument. Once the operation is completed, a contact lens is placed on your eyes and will be kept for a few days to ensure better comfort.

This procedure is quick, non-contact, non-invasive, safe and gentle on the eyes.

Its main advantages:

  • Suitable for very thin corneas or those with irregularities or asymmetry
  • Adapted to combat sports activities (boxing, karate, etc.)
  • No contact with surgical instruments, all-laser technique
  • Non-invasive, quick and gentle on the eyes
  • Speed of the operation (15 min)
  • Eye-Tracker safety system. The laser follows the micromovements of your eyes guaranteeing extreme safety
  • Low cost/reduced price
  • Recovery in 7-10 days: (a 10-day sick leave is issued)
  • Freedom and comfort: 100% clear vision from a distance over the long term
  • Painless operation. Anesthesia by simple anesthetic drops

Phake lenses are intended for patients who cannot benefit from laser surgery, mainly because the correction is too high or the cornea is too thin. In this case, a phake lens placed inside the eye corrects the defect. This type of lens, invisible to the naked eye, can be placed either in front of the iris (ARTISAN lens) or behind the iris (ICL lens). In case of presbyopia, the crystalline lens that has lost its accommodation is replaced by a multifocal lens that allows to see at any distance without glasses.

  • The implantation of phakic and multifocal lenses is performed under local anesthesia by drops through a micro incision of 2.2 mm
  • Both eyes are operated on a few days apart
  • Recovery time is extremely fast
